Ariana's Quinceañera
The Spanish adopted many of the ways of Aztec, Mayan, Incan and Toltec cultures and traditions. The Quinceañera is one of those traditions. Quinces have been celebrated since the 1500s to welcome a girl’s fifteenth birthday as a major step in becoming a woman. Mexican, Latinx and Hispanic cultures continue to carry on these traditions.
